Carol LaVon Rose
Services: Fri,. Aug. 20, 10 a.m.

Graveside service will be held 10 a.m. Friday, August 20, 2004, at the Union 
Cemetery, King and Potomac for Carol LaVon Rose of Bakersfield who passed away 
Aug. 12, 2004. She will be laid to rest next to her mother. 

Carol LaVon Rose was born October 4, 1934 in Inavale, Nebraska to parents 
Clarence and DeEtte Reed. Her family moved to Bakersfield when she was a young 
child and she has lived here ever since. Carol had previously worked as a 
credit manager for Lerners dress shop downtown.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughters, Catherine Hood and 
husband, Dennis, Heather Rose and fiancé, Shawn Bacqué; grandchildren, Shawn 
Becker and his wife, Krisit, Howard Barker and Alexis Bacqué; and great-
grandchildren, Brian and Taylor Becker. Carol was preceded in death by 
husbands, John Burchett and Ray Rose.
