Abrie is survived by her parents, Marc and Anissa Marmolejo and her big brother, Marc Jr.; grandparents, Marsha Marmolejo, Charles Fields, Eddie and Brenda Marmolejo, and Tricia Rose; great-grandparents, Don and Jean Allen, Socorro Lencioni, and Edward Marmolejo; aunts, Lolly, Mary Kay, Stephanie and Gabrielle; uncles, Brian, Mark, Tim, Dominic and Anthony; godparents, Nathan and Hailey Smidt and sons, Nathan and Zale, Don and Stacye Ray and daughter, Hannah; and numerous other extended family members and friends and specifically the people of St. Johns Lutheran Church. Though her short life was full of struggle, she touched the hearts of many. She truly was a Joy to all who knew her, especially her parents and her big brother. Though we only had five short months together, we gave each other a lifetime of love and cherished every last moment with you. You will always be our sunshine. We miss you so much, but we are so happy for you. Now you are perfect. Love, Mama and Dada. The family would like to thank Drs. Klupsteen, Patel and Bhogal, and Dr. Coulson and the PICU staff of California Pacific Medical Center for their tender and loving care. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, August 21, at 10:00 a.m., at St. Johns Lutheran, 4500 Buena Vista Rd. with graveside services to follow at Greenlawn Southwest. All children are welcome.
