Kathryn Harding Burdick
Nov. 7, 1943 - Aug. 21, 2004

Memorial services will be held on Friday, August 27th, 2004 at 1:00 P.M. at 
Riverlakes Community Church located in Calloway Dr. and Hageman. 

Kathy was born November 7th, 1943 in Long Beach, California. She attended 
Bakersfield area schools and graduated from Bakersfield High School in 1961. 
Kathy earned an AS degree in Nursing from Bakersfield College, and began her 
career as a Labor and Delivery nurse at Memorial Hospital where she became 
Nurse Manager of the department. Kathy also worked at Houchin Blood Bank until 
she retired in 2002.

Kathy leaves behind her husband of 40 years, Max; her sons, Jeff, Doug, and 
Ken; her daughters-in-law Michele, Amy, and Jill; her 14 grandchildren; her 
brother, Robert Harding her sister-in-law, Barbara Harding; her niece, Mary 
Phillips and her husband, Clint Phillips, her nieces, Katie and Annie Harding; 
her nephew, Bob Harding and his wife, Lexie Harding; her nephews, Robert 
Harding and John Harding; her niece, Anna Harding her brother-in-law Larry 
Burdick; and her mother-in-law Kay Davis 

Kathy is preceded in death by her parents, John W. Harding and Patricia Nelson 
Harding; and her sister, Donna Harding Persson.

Kathys family would like to thank all the wonderful staff at CBCC for their 
kindness and care over the past 2 years. In lieu of flowers, the family 
respectfully requests that donations be made to CBCC, Houchin Blood Bank, or 
the American Cancer Society.
