Rosary: Sun., Aug. 29, 7:30 p.m.

Mass: Mon., Aug. 30, 9:30 a.m. 

Recitation of the Rosary will be held at Greenlawn Southwest Memorial Chapel, 
2739 Panama Ln., Sunday, August 29, at 7:30 p.m., and a Mass of Christian 
Burial will be held at St. Philip the Apostle Church, 7100 Stockdale Hwy., 
Monday, August 30, at 9:30 a.m., for Ramon Maniquis Mendoza M.D., 54, who 
passed away August 25, 2004 in a local hospital. Msgr. Ronald J. Swett will 
officiate.

Dr. Mendoza was born August 21, 1950 in Manila, Philippines and resided in 
Kern County for 4 years. He was a Medical Practioner for 29 years, last 
working for National Health Services Inc.

Dr. Mendoza is survived by his wife, Marilou D. Mendoza; stepson, Peter 
Patrick Alcantara; father, Luis D. Mendoza all of Bakersfield; brothers and 
sisters-in-law, Alfredo and Marl Mendoza of the Philippines, Jose Marie (Che) 
and Beth Mendoza of Bakersfield, Gerardo (Bong) and Susan Mendoza and Mario 
Luis Mendoza Jr. (Louie) and Risa all of the Phillipines; sister and brother-
in-law, Lourdes Mendoza Smith (Dolly) and Martin Smith of England; parents-in-
law, Nanay and Tatay Del Rosario.

Pallbearers will be Alfredo Mendoza, Jose Marie Mendoza, Patrick Del Rosario-
Alcantara, James Tagle MD, Miguel Lascano MD, Chan Park MD, Naseff Henein MD, 
Wagih Michael PHD, Juan Cabrera MD and Ruben Comelli MD.

Visitation will be held Saturday, August 28, and Sunday, August 29, 9:00 a.m. 
to 9:00 p.m.
