Mary Solis Soto
January 4, 1922 August 26, 2004

Mary Solis Soto was born on January 4, 1922 in Oxnard, California to Adolfo 
and Guadalupe Solis and went to be with our Lord on August 26, 2004. Mary was 
a caring, compassionate mother, always ready to help anyone who visited her. 
She was full of gratitude and enjoyed cooking. Mary loved to read the Bible 
and newspaper. She loved sewing and crocheting and was especially devoted to 
her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. 

Mary was baptized in Jesus name at age 14, she was a faithful servant to our 
Lord Jesus Christ. She was an active member of the Dorcas Flor Azul and loved 
to sing in the Dorcas choir. Mary loved to travel.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Eugene D. Soto. 
Survivors are her daughters Regina Moya, Ruth Reyes, Dinah Pricilla Alvidrez, 
Ester Rosie Soto, Elizabeth Soto Parber, and Anna Manzer; sons Michael R.., 
Gene Soto, Daniel B , Benjamin J., David R., Reuben R. and Joel Soto; 28 
grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.

Services will be held Wednesday, September 1, 2004 at 10;00 a. m. at the 
Apostolic Assembly Church at 519 Mt. Vernon Avenue. There will be a visitation 
at the church Tuesday, 5-7 p. m., with a wake to follow at 7 p.m.
