Viewing and visitation will begin on Sunday August 29, 2004, 1:00 p.m. with a meditation/wake scheduled from 6:00- 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Beloved Care Funeral Services, 115 18th St., Bakersfield, Ca. Funeral services for Cleo are to be held Monday August 30, 2004 11:00 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall of Lighthouse Community Center, 717 E. Brundage Lane. Interment will immediately follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Cleo was born September 30, 1958 in Bakersfield to the union of Mary Robinson, mother and Lovie D. Johnson, father. His stepfather, Joe Robinson has raised him since the age of three years old. A carpenter of trade, he has worked for DOD Construction for six years. At the time of his death, he was working along side his twin brother, Leo, which he loved to do. Cleo married Pat Daniels in 1986 and to that union, they had one son, Ryan. Later in life he met and married, the wife he cherished Kalei Thompson in 1989. Together they raised their two sons, Caleb and Christian. He was a beloved husband, father, son and brother. Cleo was preceded in death by his father, Lovie D., brother El Ray, and sister Barbette, He leaves to cherish memories is his soul mate of 16 years, his wife, Kalei; their children, Anthony, China, Christian and Caleb; a daughter, Candice; two sons, Cleo Jr. and Ryan; parents Joe and Mary Roberson; twin brother, Leo Johnson and wife Lois; brothers, Brian and wife Angela, Jonathan and Joseph; one sister, Bridgette; grandmother, Clarice Jeffery; a host of aunts, uncles, relatives and friends. Cleo Johnson will be missed and loved by all, and through he is gone from our sight, he will be forever in our hearts.
