Goodwin 8/24/1942 9/1/2004 Billy Warren Goodwin was born on August 24, 1942, in Whitefield, Oklahoma to Armond and Betty Goodwin and went to be with the Lord on September 1, 2004 in Bakersfield. Billy was a wonderful husband and father and his greatest delight was his kids and grandkids, he was loved, respected and just a big kid at heart. Billy was in the trucking industry for 25 years, but had been driving for 46 years, and was also a heavy equipment operator. He was the owner of Bills Trucking and Tractors. He served in the U.S. Air Force, carrying on a long family tradition. Billy was president of the Desert Sand CB Club in 1974, charter member of the Red Tops MC in Arvin and a member of the Travelers MC in Arvin. He Will Be Greatly Missed. Billy is preceded in death by his father, Armond Goodwin; son, Michael Goodwin and Thor Buchanan. Survivors are his wife, Margaret Goodwin; mother, Betty Goodwin; sons, Charles Goodwin and Robert Goodwin; daughters, Annette Dominguez, Christine McClure and Michelle Duran; 9 grandchildren and 4 great- grandchildren. Graveside services will be held Saturday, September 4, 2004, at 10:00 a.m., at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Visitation will be today, Friday 4 to 8 p.m., at Hillcrest Mortuary.
