Marquez 10/7/1925 9/6/2004 Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 12, from 3 p.m. until 8 p.m., with the Rosary being recited at 6 p.m., at Hopson-Anspach Family Mortuary, Bakersfield. The Mass of the Christian Burial will be said at 10:00 a.m., on Monday, September 12, at St. Francis Church. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery. Lois was born in Lodi, Texas on October 7, 1925 and resided in Bakersfield for the last 60 years. Loiss favorite pastimes were doing arts and crafts, gardening and spending time with her family and friends. Lois always gave her time and love generously and unconditionally, expecting nothing in return. Lois was a very loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be greatly missed. Lois is survived by three sisters and one brother and her loving children: daughters, Mary Lou Castro, Geraldine Spanke, Gracie Barreraz; sons, Jesse Lopez, Michael Marquez, Timothy Marquez; 12 grandchildren, 25 great-grand-children, numerous nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Manuel Marquez. Pallbearers will include Ernest Ortiz, Michael Marquez Jr., Jesse J. Lopez Jr., George Lawson IV, Phillip Vega and Ralph Carrasco.
