Ricou Aug. 6, 1940 Sept. 8, 2004 Roger Ricou was born in Bakersfield, CA on August 6, 1940 and passed away peacefully after a short illness on September 8, 2004. Roger was born into a railroad family, retiring after 41 years of devoted service. He was a member of the California Masonic Lodge #1, Scottish Rite of Free Masonry, Al Malaikah Shriners, Kern County Shrine Club and a Past Patron of Bakersfield Chapter #125 Order of the Eastern Star. His hobbies included model trains, amateur radio and especially traveling in his new motorhome. He will be missed by his wife Sylvia; stepchildren and their children; sister Joan Chapman and husband Bill; cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends. Special loving care and comfort provided by all personnel of Odyssey Hospice to Roger, family and friends is especially appreciated. There will be no services.
