Services: Wed., Sept., 15, 9:00 a.m.

Graveside services conducted by Pastor Doug Davis and members of the Oildale 
Masonic Lodge No. 685 will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 15, 2004 
at Union Cemetery for Robert E. Stricker, 84, of Bakersfield, who died 
September 10, 2004. Visitation will be held today, September 14, from 2 p.m. 
until 8 p.m. at Hopson-Anspach Family Mortuary-Bakersfield. 

Robert was born in Kansas City, Missouri. He served in the US Army Air Corps 
during WWII. He was a retired Teamster working for Oroweat Baking Company as a 
salesman for over 35 years. He was a member of 32nd Degree Scottish Rite of 
Freemasonry, Al Malaikah Temple, Kern County Shrine Club and Oildale Eastern 
Star.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mildred, and also by his son, 
Jerry and a stepson. Those surviving Robert include his wife, Barbara, his 
children, Mike and wife Lynn, Rick and wife Sheri, grandsons, Ty, Tad, Jeff, 
Jason, Brent and David, granddaughters, Janielle and Karalyn, great-
grandchildren, Cale, Drew and Cristo, 2 step-daughters, 3 step-granddaughters, 
and 4 step great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Shriners' Children Hospital 
in Los Angeles.
