Interment will immediately follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, River Blvd. Wanda was born in Bakersfield, CA to William, Jr. and Reada McKinney, Wanda was big sister to Tonya and Zachary. She resided in Pacoima, CA for 20 years. Wanda became a loyal member of El Bethel Apostolic Church, Pacoima, at the age of 16. She went through school graduating from Miller High School in Reseda, CA. She took classes at Mission College. Wanda married Robert G. Pearson in 1986. A couple of years later, they moved to Bakersfield. She immediately united with the Emmanuel Temple family and became a faithful, Happy and saved sister. Wanda was a full participant in life. She volunteered at Mercy Hospital, 5 years, receiving commendations and awards. She traveled, had many hobbies and crafts. She loved going to Elder Life since 2000. Wandas grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. William McKinney, Sr., Mr. & Mrs. Willie Kelley (Poppa, 11-15-03) preceded her in this journey. Wanda has many friends and acquaintances everywhere, St. John Manor, Elder Life, and Church. Her friends, Ms. B. Cockerel and Anna Bell, her Buddy Ms. E. Jackson, Doris Brothers, cousin Philly Marylin, Pastor Rhamie and Pastor Wofford. They were there to the end. Wanda was a warrior and proved it many times to many of her family, she had a powerful weapon. Prayer! She won many battles, But.
