Deanna was a loving wife, mother and above all Nana. Her grandchildren were her greatest joy. She spent countless hours with her precious grandchildren making the time with them extremely special. She looked forward to her Wednesday dinners with Austin and Havana. Deanna was eagerly awaiting the birth of her third grandchild, Dylan Wayne, next month to Wayne and Janell. Deanna spent most of her young life immersed in the activities of her two sons lives. She enjoyed contributing her time to the Rosedale 4-H Club and spent many hours involved with the Bakersfield High Wrestling Team. Deanna was the first one called to help out at a fund raising event or school function. She was well known in the community for having the most elaborate decorations for holidays. Deanna made every holiday and birthday a special occasion. People who knew Deanna and attended her parties considered her the ultimate hostess. When it was time to relax, she enjoyed spending time with her family at their vacation home in Pismo Beach. Deanna owned and operated Endless Summer Tanning and Salon, which had become one of her many passions. She treasured her Endless Summer girls, old and new, who had become an extended family to her. Deanna loved her girls and wanted the best in life for all of them. She formed a special relationship with her manager Katie Peterson. Deanna was a very generous person, donating to many local charities. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Bakersfield Homeless Center, one of her favorite charities.
