Connie was born to Louis and Ada Camini on January 28, 1931 in Stockton and passed away in Bakersfield on September 17, 2004. She was employed by Taft City School District for many years as a Teachers Aide, Parent Liaison, and retired as School Secretary in 1990. After her retirement from Taft City School District, she embarked on a new career as a Real Estate Agent for Cruzan Realty. Her favorite pastimes included Bingo, traveling to Las Vegas, shopping and spending time with her grandchildren and many friends. Connie was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Ada; her brother, Robert Camini; her beloved husband, Don; her mother-in-law, Florence Pevey; her brother-in-law, Fred Wiloth and by her nephew, Paul Wiloth. She is survived by her daughters and their spouses, Deborah and George Adkins of Lancaster, Toni and Mike McKnight of Taft and Julie and Max Rushing of Taft; her grandchildren, Rob Adkins of Solano Beach, Heather McKnight of Davis, Elizabeth and Michelle McKnight of Taft, Andrea Moser of Taft, Tim Rushing of Bakersfield and Todd Rushing and his wife, Teresa of Pasadena; great- grandchildren, Brock Rushing and Kallie and Luke Rushing; and by her many special friends too numerous to list. Those who wish to pay their respects may do so on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Erickson & Brown Funeral Home.
