Robert Francis OReilly II, 37, of La Jolla, CA, died Monday, September 20, 
2004 after a hard fought battle with cancer. 

He was a graduate of University of Wisconsin-Stout and earned his MBA from 
NYU. He excelled as a Senior Director for Elan Pharmaceuticals, was an avid 
golfer, and more than anything else, enjoyed his family.

Preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Capitola; grandparents, Joseph 
and Margaret OReilly and Sara Thompson. Survived by loving wife, Nilda and 
daughter, Ciara of San Diego, CA; grandfather, Arthur Thompson of Columbus, 
OH; sister, Cynthia (Charles) Felice of Kathy, TX; brothers, Todd of Chicago, 
IL; Timothy of Minneapolis, MN; Tedmond (Mary) of Cedarburg, WI; Terrence 
(Pamela) of Burlington, MA; and many loving nieces and nephews. Further 
survived by Lorenzo and Isabel Castilleja of Bakersfield, CA; brother and 
sisters-in-law, Lorenzo Jr. (Paula) of Shafter, CA, Noel (Donna) of 
Bakersfield, CA, Elizabeth of San Diego, CA, Linda of Bakersfield, CA, Oliver 
(Jenny) of Bakersfield, CA, Gloria (Robert) of Allen Park, MI; nieces and 
nephews, Daniel, Samuel and Vanessa Aguilar; Amanda, Noel, Jessica, Joshua, 
Jacob and Alex Castilleja; Ariel, Stephanie, Marina, Santana Waters, and Emily 
Hand.

Mass of Catholic Burial, Saturday, September 24th at 10:00 a.m., at Mary, Star 
of the Lea, La Jolla. Visitation at Pacific Beach Chapel Funeral Home, 4710 
Cass Street on Friday, September 24th from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m. Family requests 
memorials be made to The American Cancer Society and St. Jude Childrens 
Research Hospital.
