Graveside funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 25, 2004, at 
11:00 a.m., at Shafter Memorial Park for Ellen Loretta Evans, age 78, of Wasco 
who passed away at her residence in Wasco. 

Ellen was born on August 2, 1926 to Andrew and Mary Barling in Bakersfield, 
CA. She passed away on September 21, 2004, in Wasco. She was preceded in death 
by her parents, her daughter, Pamela, two brothers and three sisters.

Ellen is survived by her husband, Murray of Wasco; her son and daughter-in-
law, Murray and Kim Evans of Madera, CA; her twin sister and brother-in-law, 
Helen and Roy Gafner of Wasco; her sister, Vernice Smith of Fullerton, CA; 
brother, Sam Barling of Bakersfield, CA; five grandchildren and 8 great-
grandchildren.

We are very grateful and thankful for the love and care of Hoffman Hospice. 
Donations to Hoffman Hospice would be greatly appreciated.
