Ella Schimnowski
Services: Thurs., Sept. 23, 2 p.m.

Services will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Park & Mortuary, 9101 Kern Canyon 
Rd., for Ella Schimnowski, 85, who passed away September 20, 2004. The 
Reverends Ed Boschman and Mark McGinty will officiate. 

Ella was born April 12, 1919 in Mt. Lake, Minnesota. Those whose lives she 
touched were blessed by her sincere desire to service. She and her husband 
together pastored several churches during their 61 years of marriage. Ella 
also worked for the KCSOS as an aide for special education classes.

Ella is survived by her husband, Mel of 61 years; by her daughters and their 
spouses, Elaine and Bob Hardcastle, Joann and Greg Marling, Dorothy and Bob 
Atchison, Mary and Richard Abel; daughter, Darlene Schimnowski; son, Don 
Schimnowski and wife, Carolyn. Also surviving her are 5 grandchildren and 5 
great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent in Ellas memory to Bakersfield 
Rescue Mission, 212 21st , Bakersfield, California.

We will truly miss her love, caring concerns and her prayers.
