Services will be held 1:00 p.m., at Bakersfield Family Funeral Directors, 701 
34th Street, for Jesse Indio Vera, 59, who passed away September 22, 2004. 
Pastor Hector Carrillo will officiate.

Jesse is survived by his wife, Hilda Vera of 34 years; his son and daughter-in-
law, Jesse and Margarita Vera; his twin daughters The Cone Heads Tisha Vera 
and Jessica Tejeda; son-in-law, Ricardo Tejeda; the one he considered a 
daughter, Marlena Talamantez; his twin grandsons, Junior and Julian Castro; 
and his new grandkids, Kimberly, Daniel, and Angel all of Bakersfield, CA; and 
his sister, Norma Ruiz of Calexico, CA. He was preceded in death by his Little 
Princess Desirae Tejeda.

Jesse Indio was a person who loved to make people laugh and he had a very 
giving heart. We love and well miss you dearly, forever in our hearts, we will 
see you again in Heaven, Dad.

The family would like to thank the hospital staff (ICU) at San Joaquin 
Hospital, for the loving care and patience they gave to our Dad, our church, 
New Harvest Christian Fellowship for their love, support and prayers. God 
Bless you all.
