Angela Ann Story

Dec. 10, 1978 Sept. 20, 2004



Angela was a Bakersfield native and lived here most of her life. She graduated 

from Foothill High School. She marrried Colby Story on May 26, 1999 and then 

moved to Eielson A.F.B. where her husband was stationed. Angela passed away 

after a brief illness in a hospital in Fairbanks, Alaska. 



Angela was a devoted wife, mother, and daughter. Her favorite hobbies were 

collecting dolphins and reading novels. She had a quiet spirit, she was kind 

and compassionate, and she was a very giving and thoughtful person. She will 

be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.



Angela is survived by her husband, Colby Story and her beloved 5 year old son, 

Gavin. She also leaves behind her mother, Debra Vessell; her father, Buddy 

Michael Turney; her sister, Maria Elena and husband, Paul Vessell; and sister, 

Mary Jean Turney. She also leaves behind a host of extended family and 

friends. Special friends of Angela include Christy and Robert Cuevas and Lori 

Hernandez.



Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, September 29, 2004, at 2 p.m., at 

Hillcrest Memorial Park. Visitation is scheduled on Tuesday, 4-9 p.m. and 

Wednesday morning from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.
