Wilna was always smiling and was she was always friendly. She enjoyed conversing and spending time with her friends. During this past year she enjoyed greeting many people at the doctors office and at the hospital. Wilma loved her family and she was a great Mom to all of us. She would give anything she had to her kids. She was always a lady until you messed with her. Mom was a well dressed woman and she always looked beautiful. Mom raised six children while she helped our Dad run a family owned business, ETCO Tank and Steel Company. She loved traveling and dancing. After our Dad passed away, she opened a day care center and she still kept in touch with many of those children. She was a very sociable lady who kept in touch with everyone. Mom had a very big heart and she was always ready to listen to a good joke. Her laughter would brighten anyone with a gloomy outlook. Her tenacity was taught to us through example. She was the most beautiful woman we ever set eyes on. Mom coupled with our father, who was also a strikingly beautiful person, could daunt the most glamorous of Hollywood couples. Above all she was a nurturing soul with the capacity to calm and quiet the distraught. A special thanks goes to all the nurses in Procedures at Bakersfield Family Medical Center and a special thanks from her 6 children. She was loved by all that knew her, especially her children and she will be deeply missed. For additional service or floral delivery information, please contact Basham Funeral Care 873-8200.
