Donald Bruce Fester
July 3, 1933 Sept. 25, 2004

Don succumbed to cancer at his home in Emmett, Idaho. He was born in Berwick, 
PA and raised in Winnetka, IL. He worked for GTE and ConTel in IL, TX and CA. 
Don was a past President of the Jaycees and Chamber of Commerce in Streator, 
IL. He served as Director, VP and President of the Kern County Board of Trade. 
He was a lifetime member of Hancock Lodge #20, AF&AM in Carthage, IL. 

Don is preceded in death by his parents, Mary E. Gingher Fester and Earl L. 
Fester. He is survived by his wife, Roxy; brother, Robert Fester of GA; 
sisters, Tamara Passarelli and Maribeth Sell both of MO; son, Michael Fester 
and granddaughters, Coral and Amber Fester of San Francisco; daughters, 
Patricia Fester of Streator, IL and Laura Fester of Bakersfield, CA; grandson, 
Jeremy Gear and former wife, Melinda Medlin Fester both of Bakersfield.

Donations can be made to The Salvation Army.
