William Jeff Hollingsworth

May 23, 1965 Sept. 28, 2004 

Jeff was born in Bakersfield on May 23, 1965. He had battled illness for many 
years and died on September 28, 2004. His life was full with family, friends, 
faith, music, NASCAR, food, laughter and love. He was dearly loved and will be 
missed by many. His survivors include parents Virgil and Lola; sister Lisa 
Berry, her husband Will and their children Liam and Ella; uncle Dale; aunt 
Trudy; cousin Bill; aunt Loretta Chaefsky; uncle Kenneth Hollingsworth; aunt 
Jeanette; Stephanie Carter and Nikki Duke who he loved and raised as his own; 
childhood friend Randy Pigg; and many other relatives and good friends. Jeffs 
family would like to thank the many doctors and caregivers who helped Jeff in 
his long struggle, particularly Dr. Ashrof and staff, and the San Joaquin 
Hospital ER staff. Visitation will be held Sunday, October 3 from 12:00 to 
5:00 at Hillcrest Memorial Park and Mortuary, and graveside services will be 
performed there by Pastor Larry Woods and Pastor Phil Neighbors on Monday, 
October 4 at 10:00 a.m.
