She was born December 11, 1934 to Fred Henry Reynolds and Rose Emily Reynolds (Bertlemann) of Honolulu in the U.S. Territory of Hawaii. Boo had been enlisted in the service, where she earned her nickname, before meeting Jess F. Deegan of Ironton, OH, who she later married. She is survived by her ex-spouse and their son, Jess F. Deegan, II of Columbia, SC, who now resides in Bakersfield, CA, his wife, Virginia Maria (Gigi), their three children, Michael; John, his spouse, April; and Rodney, his wife, Stacey, and three grandchildren: Michaels children, Sierra and Victoria, and Johns daughter, Ashley. Brothers, Ray James Reynolds and his wife, Zina Kuulani, who live in Honolulu, Hawaii and Floyd Joseph Reynolds and his wife, Pat, who live in Fairfield, CA also survive their sister; naming just a few of the large family and many friends whom all have been touched by Boos kindness. Boo, a long-time resident of the Kern Valley, most recently Wofford Heights, was known to those around her as a soft-hearted person who would never deny a person in need. The family wishes you to pay tribute to her life in the manner that personally fits your beliefs and by living a life of giving to others as she had. Please withhold cards, flowers, etc., and instead give to the American Cancer Society in her name. Services will not be held in the local area, but on Wednesday, October 13, the family will place Viviettes ashes with those of her ancestors in Honolulu, Hawaii.
