Visitation for ValJean Wasson will be held at Basham Funeral Care (3312 Niles 
St.) on Thursday evening, October 7, 2004 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. and funeral 
services will be held at Higher Ground Church on Friday morning, October 8, 
2004 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be held at Greenlawn Southwest Cemetery. 
Pastor Ron Roberson will officiate. 

Val is preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Freda Tredup; and she is 
survived by her husband of 25 years, Leroy Wasson; son, Levi LeRay Wasson; 
brother, Gary Tredup of Red Wing Minnesota; and many church family members in 
Minnesota and California, as well as many friends.

Val loved the Lord with all of her mind, body, and spirit. She was an active 
member of Higher Ground Church. She loved flowers, motorcycle rding, and 
gardening. She enjoyed participating with her son, Levis home-schooling. She 
loved being a wife, a mother, and everything that goes with being a homemaker. 
She made our house a home. She was loved by all that knew her and she will be
