Bertha had numerous brothers, sisters, cousins, aunts and uncles, mostly deceased now. She is survived by her beloved husband, Jim Cartwright; two sons, Melvin Rockholt of Oildale and Michael Rockholt of Pomona, CA. She also leaves several devoted granddaughters, Martha Headley of Mesa, Arizona and Letha Schumacher of Coalinga, CA. She is also survived by Jeffery Rockholt, her devoted grandson, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Bertha loved arts and crafts, but Macular degeneration made it difficult for her and she had to give it up. That was a heavy burden from which she never recovered. She was the owner and operator of the A&W Root Beer Drive In, in Arvin for years. A one time landmark for Arvin. She was a woman who deserved more than she got but never complained. May angels sing thee softly sweetly to your eternal rest Love Papa.
