Walter James Crabtree
1921 - 2004

Funeral services will be held Monday, October 11, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. at 
Greenlawn Mortuary 3700 River Blvd. for Walter James Crabtree, 83, of 
Bakersfield who died October 6, 2004 at Parkview Julian Convalescent Hospital. 
Viewing, Sunday, October 10, 2004 from 12:00 - 9:00 p.m. 

He was a native of Deer Trail, Utah and lived in Bakersfield 59 years. He 
worked for PG&E for 40 years as a Warehouseman. He was in the Army in World 
War II as a Medic on the battle field. He was a member of the N.R.A. and loved 
to tinker in his garage making wind chimes and taking care of his flower beds. 

He is survived by his two daughters, Linda Castro and husband, Robert; Beverly 
ODonley and husband, Dana; granddaughter, Tanya and great-grandchildren, 
Ashley and Daniel; his sister, Margie Willoughby and her daughters Heather and 
Barbara of Bakersfield and numerous nieces and nephews, John, Brandon, 
Rochell, Leroy, Jimmy, Pat, Sherry, Renee, Gloria, Steven, Janelle and Lamont.

We would also like to thank the staff and nurses at Parkview Julian 
Convalescent Hospital for all their support and patience also, Optimal Hospice 
Care and would like to thank Russell for being a good roommate.
