Frances "Fran" Jane Keon
Services: Fri., Oct. 15, 11 a.m. Graveside: Sat., Oct. 16, 11 a.m.

Memorial services will be held at the Mormon Church located at 2801 So. Real 
Rd. in Bakersfield. Graveside services will be Saturday at the old Kernville 
Cemetery in Kernville for Frances Jane Keon, 49, who passed away October 9, 
2004 at Mercy Hospital in Bakersfield. 

Frances was born August 2, 1955 in St. George, Utah to Emily Jewell and 
Francis James Keon whom have preceded her in death. Frances is survived by her 
3 children, her son, Brian Bailey and her 2 daughters, Shannon Bailey and 
Stacey Bailey of Bakersfield; her sister, Patti Keon of Holy Cross, Alaska; 
and her nieces, Caryl Jones and Janet Taillon of Lake Isabella, CA, as well as 
many lifelong friends. Frances resided in Bakersfield for 30 years. She was a 
1973 Kern Valley High graduate. In January 1978 she graduated from the LVN 
Nursing Program at Bakersfield College. She worked at San Joaquin Hospital and 
Mercy Hospital Skilled Nursing Facility and other skilled nursing facilities 
in Bakersfield until 1987.

She will be dearly missed by her friends, family and loved ones.
