Alvaro or Rudy as he was known to many was born in Tlaxaco, Mexico and moved to California in 1944. Both he and his wife, Petra were parishioners of St. Josephs Church for nearly sixty years. Rudy was employed in the dry cleaning business for many years before becoming the proud owner and operator of Rudys Cleaners for thirty years. Rudy had a life long passion for life. He loved dancing with his wife; he loved gardening and traveling, especially family trips to Morro Bay. After retirement, he and Petra enjoyed traveling and shared wonderful memories of their trips to Hawaii, Canada and Mexico to name a few. Rudys greatest pride was his wife, children, grandchildren & great- grandchildren. He enjoyed weekends playing cards or dominos with his family. He will always be remembered as a caring and kind man who lead by example and taught his children and grandchildren with kindness. He is survived by his loving wife, Petra; four children, Stella Apezteguia and husband, Jose; Margaret Garro and husband, Carlos; Mary Mudge and husband, David; Ruben Zamora and wife, Debbie.
