Rita Rodriguez-Sauceda
September 28, 1949 - October 20, 2004 

The Rosary will be recited Sunday, October 24th, at 6:00 p.m. with Mass being 
held Monday, October 25th, 10:00 a.m., both at San Clemente Mission. A 
graveside service will follow the Mass at Greenlawn Cemetery (3700 River 
Blvd.).

Rita was born to Frances and Sam Rodriguez on September 28, 1949, in 
Bakersfield, CA. She graduated from East Bakersfield High School.

Rita is survived by her father, Sam Rodriguez; children Rudy Negrete and his 
wife, Harmony, Denise Negrete-Rodriguez and her husband, Manuel Rodriguez, and 
Anna Sauceda; her grandchildren, Nick, Vanessa and Manuel Bubba Rodriquez, 
Jake and Grace Negrete, and Daniel Nevarez; sisters, Marie Lomely, Dolores 
Rodriguez, Alice Rodriguez, Lupe Gomez, Arlene Mendenhall; brothers, Sam and 
Ernie Rodriguez. She is preceded in death by her mother, Frances and her son, 
Carlos Negrete.

Rita was devoted to her family and loved her grandchildren.

Her children would like to thank, Rev. Craig F. Harrison, Mission Funeral Home 
Ray and David Mish for their help and comfort, and the nursing staff at Kern 
Medical Center.
