Services: Sat., Oct. 30, 2004 

A Rosary and Visitation will be Friday, October 29, from 4-9 p.m. at Autumn 
Oaks Funeral Home. Mass of the Christian Burial will be held at St. Francis 
Catholic Church, Saturday, October 30, 2004, 11:00 a.m.

Patricio was born March 17, 1921 and passed away on October 26, 2004. He was a 
WWII survivor and a former POW, as he served in the Army as a private 
paratrooper, 502 Airborne attached to the 82nd Division. He was also a member 
of United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America for over 55 years.

Patricio was preceded in death by his loving wife of 55 years, Amelia M. 
Mendez. He is survived by his children, Mary Helen Mendez of Bakersfield, CA, 
Patricia Dorner of West Covina, CA, Arthur Mendez of Cottonwood, AZ, Gilbert 
Mendez of West Covina, CA, Vivian Mendez Gonzales of Azusa, CA, Connie Doris 
Mendez Dzama of Las Vegas, NV; 11 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; Mr. 
Rabbit (Cuddles); stepsisters, Rosa Escalante of Baldwin Park, CA, Maria Luesa 
Martinez of El Paso, TX; stepbrother, Jose A. Mendez of El Paso, TX; many 
nieces and nephews, and many, many friends.

Our family wishes to Thank everyone of you for your wishes, prayers and 
condolences.
