Peter H. 'Pete' Dukette


Dec. 20, 1941 Oct. 26, 2004 

A memorial service for Peter Pete Dukette will be held in the Basham Funeral 
Care Chapel (3312 Niles St.) on Friday afternoon, October 29, 2004, at 3:00 
p.m. Pastor Jack Lee will officiate.

Peter Dukette was born December 20, 1941 in Portland, Maine, and he went home 
to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 26, 2004 in Bakersfield, California 
with his family by his side.

Pete retired as a Federal Agent after 32 years of service. Upon retirement 
Pete went to work for Transwest Security where he worked at Chevron/Texaco 
Kern River Lease for the last 3 years. Pete also served 16 years of active and 
reserve duty for the military. 

He is survived by his loving wife, Marilyn; five daughters, Melissa Hunnicutt, 
Kimberley Torbenson, Kelly Brown, Tammy Keeney, Angela Strand; 4 sons-in-law; 
his sister and brother-in-law, Cindy and Ken Valley; 3 sisters-in-law; mother, 
Natalie Stover; 12 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Optimal Hospice, 
4800 Stockdale Hwy., Ste. 215, Bakersfield, CA 93309. Pete was blessed with 
the opportunity of meeting 2 of 4 siblings from his paternal side before his 
death. He was loved by all that knew him and he will be deeply missed. For
