Thomas J. Martin Sr.
Services: Friday, Nov. 5, 1 p.m.

Graveside services will be held in Greenlawn Southwest Memorial Park, 2739 
Panama Lane and Hwy. 99, for Thomas J. Martin, Sr., 76, who went to be with 
his Lord Jesus on November 1, 2004. Tom died at his home where he had lived 
since 1961. 

Tom was born on August 3, 1928, in Hawthorne, Oklahoma to Arthur and Annie 
Martin. Tom was the oldest of 15 children and is survived by his three 
children, Tom and Peggy Martin, Jr., Richard and Geneva Mott, and Bruce and 
Candace Hobbs; six grandchildren, Amy Martin, Christopher Martin, Richard 
Mott, Darci Mott, Tommy Hobbs and Cassie Martin; 11 great-grandchildren; aunt, 
Hazel Benson; sisters, Laura, Linda, Betty, Carol and Rita; brothers, Arthur, 
Bobby, Dean and Denver and numerous nieces and nephews.

Tom was a member of the Teamsters Union and was a truck driver for 40 years. 
He also worked as the floor manager for Kern Wholesale Liquors for over twenty 
years. Tom loved his country and retired from the National Guard as their 
First Sergeant in 1988.

Visitation begins Thursday, 2:00 9:00 p.m.
