Funeral services will be held Friday, November 5, 2004, at 12 noon in the Chapel of Ruckers Mortuary, 301 Baker Street. Bro. Lakes of the Jehovahs Witnesses is officiating with interment to follow at Union Cemetery. Ollie Mae Jackson was born in Woodville, Mississippi, March 18, 1911 to Charlie Scott and Louisa M. Jackson. Ollie was one of ten children who have all preceded her in death. Ollie married Will Jackson who also preceded her in death. To their union two children were born. Ollie Mae Jackson is preceded in death by one son, Alfred Christopher Scott, Sr. She leaves to cherish her memory and celebrate her homegoing, two children, Joy Boyd Jackson (Cookie) and Linda Carol Jackson-Armstrong both of Bakersfield, California; grandchildren, Alfred Christopher Scott, Jr., Phillip Edison Horsey, Doy Dayne Scott, Laray Deshall Watkins, Torrey Christopher Armstrong and Jason Deshawn Arnstrong all of Bakersfield, California; fifteen great-grandchildren and a host of children whom she cared for and helped raise; other loving relatives and friends.
