Leo Wesley Wilson
Jan. 15, 1917 - Nov. 5, 2004

Private graveside services were held for Leo Wesley Wilson, 87, who passed 
away November 5, 2004. 

Mr. Wilson was born on January 15, 1917, in Fairfield, Illinois and resided in 
Kern County for 63 years. He was the owner and operator of Fryes Market in 
Bakersfield for 45 years. Mr. Wilson was a World War II veteran serving in the 
European Theatre, with the 101st Airborne and Glider Infantry.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Reno J. Wilson on September 
18, 2004. He is survived by his nieces Susan Fallgatter, Debra Mazzeco and Pat 
Moody; nephew, Alec Deaton; grandnieces, Tricia Colcord and Donna Morris; 
grandnephews, Wesley Powers and Kevin Moody; many other beloved nieces and 
nephews; sister-in-law, Ilene Webster; sisters, Claribel Smith, Lucy Porter 
and Marie Wells and brother, Joseph Wilson.
