Ramon Rodriguez Arguello

Oct. 19, 1933 Nov. 11, 2004 

Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held on Monday, November 15, 2004, at 
7:00 p.m., at St. Elizabeth Church in McFarland for Ramon Rodriguez Arguello, 
age 71, of McFarland who passed away on November 11, 2004, at his residence in 
McFarland. Mass of the Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, November 16, 
2004, at 10:00 a.m., at St. Elizabeth Church in McFarland. Fr. Sanchez will 
officiate and interment will follow at North Kern Cemetery in Delano.

Ramon Arguello was born October 19, 1933 in Salamanca, GTO, Mexico, the son of 
Canuto and Maria Arguello. He came to California in 1953-1954 and to McFarland 
in 1963. He married Hermila Heredia on October 10, 1963, in Delano. He enjoyed 
playing the guitar and harmonica and spending time with his grandchildren.

Ramon is survived by his wife, Hermila of McFarland; sons, David and wife, 
Melissa, Ramon, and Anthony Arguello, all of McFarland; daughters, Maria Rizo 
and husband, Jaime, Trini Ayon and husband, Amador, and Leticia Arguello, all 
of McFarland; sister, Sylviana Villanueva of Bakersfield; and 9 grandchildren. 
He is preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Lorenzo.
