Elizabeth L. Smith
May 13, 1917 - November 15, 2004

Graveside services will be held Friday, November 19, 2004, 2:00 p.m., at 
Hillcrest Memorial Park & Mortuary. 

Born Elizabeth Loretta Hogue on May 13th in Gordonville, Texas. She was the 
10th child of Samuel and Nora Hogue. She passed peacefully on November 15, 
2004. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Roy Smith and her mother, 
father, six sisters and five brothers.

Elizabeth and Roy were married in Arizona on May 5, 1939. Roy was the one and 
only love of Elizabeth's life. After Roy's death in 1982, Elizabeth devoted 
the remaining years of her life to her and Roy's second love, The Church of 
Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. They were unable to have children but had 
many nieces and nephews they treated as their own. Elizabeth was loved and 
respected by all who knew her. She was a very kind and gentle person who will 
be thought of often and lovingly by all of her family and friends. May she 
rest in everlasting peace.
