Robert Dennis Burens
Services: Sat., Nov. 20, 10 a.m.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 20, 2004, at 10:00 a.m., at 
Doughty-Calhoun-OMeara Chapel for Robert Dennis Burens, who passed away 
November 17, 2004. Pastor Pat Harrelson of Harvest Christian Church will 
officiate. Interment will follow at Union Cemetery. 

Robert was born November 23, 1946 in West Elizabeth, PA to Jerome and Lois 
Burens.

He is survived by his wife, Beatrice; son, Robert Jr. and wife, Marla; 
daughter, Lisa and husband, Johnathon Wall; mother, Lois Burens; brothers, 
Jerome Jr., Thomas and wife, Dolly and sister, Donna Jones. He was a loving 
grandfather to Zachary Wall and Cheyanne and Kaelyne Burens. He also leaves a 
host of good friends and relatives that are too numerous to mention and we 
must not forget his two cats, Taz and Bootsie.

Bob was in the BHS Class of 1964. He went to work for Santa Fe R.R. in 1966. 
He entered the U.S. Army in 1969. He was a Vietnam Veteran and was wounded in 
action. He was awarded the Purple Heart as well as other medals. He was a 
member of the VFW and DAV. Bob was proud of his military service and was a 
very patriotic American. Bob will be greatly missed by everyone that knew him.

Visitation is scheduled Friday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
