Services will be conducted by Clif Calderwood. Mr. Skidmore was born October 23, 1945 in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. He had been a resident of Bakersfield prior to serving in the U.S. Army, during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Crimestoppers and the American Legion Post in Ketchikan, and had been the owner/operator of McDonalds in Ketchikan for 15 years. Survivors include his wife, Lee M. Skidmore; son, David L. Skidmore, both of Ketchikan, AK; daughter, Corrie Chambers and her husband, Chris; grandchildren, Cale, Cameron and Carsyn, all of Anacortes, WA; sisters, Donna Briggs and her husband, Bob of Bakersfield, Deanna Lam of Coalinga, and Judy Calderwood and her husband, Clif of Bakersfield; brother, Fred Skidmore and his wife, Linda of Taft; and many nieces and nephews.
