Andres Lopez Arredondo Feb. 27, 1923 Nov. 17, 2004 Andres was born in Leon, Guanajuato in Ranch San Ramon to Guadalupe and Simona Arredondo and passed away November 17, 2004. He was 81. Viewing will be held Saturday, November 20th from 2 to 8 p.m., at Hopson- Anspach Family Mortuary. Recitation of the Rosary will be held Sunday, November 21st, at 7 p.m., at Hopson-Anspach Family Mortuary. A Catholic Mass will be held Monday, November 22nd, at 10:30 a.m., at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. He is survived by his devoted and loving wife, Concha Najera Arredondo, of 56 years of marriage. Andres was a loving father of 10 children: Juana Arredondo Anguiano of Juarez, Mexico; Irene Way and her husband, Virgil of Bakersfield; Celia Arredondo Servin and her husband, Eduardo of Juarez, Mexico; Jesus N. Garcia and his wife, Luz of Bakersfield; Andres N. Arredondo and his wife, Triny of Sacramento; Guadalupe N. Arredondo and wife, Belen of Bakersfield; Teresa Luque of Bakersfield; Esther (Lola) Lozano of Bakersfield; Juan N. Arredondo and his wife, Maria G. of Bakersfield; and Florentino N. Arredondo of Las Vegas, NV. Andres was a devoted and loving grandparent of 31 grandchildren, 34 great- grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his two brothers, Florentino Arredondo and Manuel Arredondo; and two sisters, Cuca Arredondo and Loretta Arredondo, all of Leon Guanajuato. Andres is preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Guadalupe Arredondo Sanson and his brother, Jesus L. Arredondo. Andres had lived in Kern County for 56 years. He spent his life working in the agricultural fields as a farm foreman for DiGiorgio Farm and Superior Farm. He was a club member of Sociedad Juarez, M.M., Edad De Oro Sucursal #12, Sociedad 40, and Comite Mexicano de Beneficencia. Dad loved his family and always wanted the best for us. He enjoyed seeing his grandkids, always having a hug and smile for them. Visiting Las Vegas and The Palace Indian Casino and raising his roosters were his favorite pastimes.
