A Funeral Service and Homegoing celebration for Effie Mae Hicks, 93 years old, 
a 53 year resident of Bakersfield, Ca. will be held on Tuesday, November 23, 
2004, at 10:00 a.m. at Cain Memorial African Methodist Episcopal Church, 631 
California Ave. Bakersfield, Ca with interment to immediately follow in Union 
Cemetery. 

Viewing and visitation will begin Monday, November 22, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. in 
the Chapel of Beloved Care Funeral Services, 115 18th St., a meditation/wake 
is scheduled from 6:007:00 p.m. this evening. For additional information
