Melba Don Gregory

Visitation for Melba will be held on Wednesday, November 24, 2004 from 4-8 
p.m. at Kern River Family Mortuary Chapel, 1900 N. Chester Avenue with funeral 
services conducted on Friday, November 26, 2004 at 10:30 a.m. at the same 
location. 

Melbas greatest loves were bowling with the 600 club, watching her soap All My 
Children, dancing to country and western music, big Dodgers fan, going to 
Stuart Andersons to eat, gambling in Las Vegas and traveling with her chowder 
Club.

Melba is preceded in death by her parents, Dud and Eva Poynor; brother and 
sister-in-law, Jerry and Tootsie Poynor and stepgrandson, Tyler Gregory. She 
is survived by her loving husband, John Gregory; sons, Vincent Mulhause and 
his wife, Taren, Kevin Mulhause and his wife, Jeannette; stepdaughters, Sheryl 
Margee and husband, Mark, Tina Maxey and husband, Jim; stepsons, Quinton 
Coffee and his wife, Jeannette; grandchildren, Kristopher, Shelton and Julian 
Mulhause; 10 stepgrandchildren; sisters, Myrble Thompson and Winona Poynor; in-
laws, Fred and Debbie Gregory, Sue Thompson, Ron and Dixie Gregory; as well as 
numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was loved by all who knew her and 
she will be greatly missed. A reception will follow Melbas funeral services at 
the Highway Patrol Pistol Range located at the bottom of the bluffs.
