Felix Patino Torres, Sr.
Feb. 21, 1925-Nov. 19, 2004

Services: Wed., Nov. 24, 10 a.m. 


Graveside services will be held Wednesday, November 24, at 10:00 a.m. in Union 
Cemetery, King & Potamac Streets for Felix Patino Torres Sr., 79, of 
Bakersfield, who passed away November 19, 2004 at his home. Father James 
Catalano will officiate with military honors by the Kern County Associated 
Veterans.

Felix was born on February 21, 1925 in Del Rio, Texas, the son of Gregario and 
Celia Torres and was the eldest of eleven brothers and sisters, who still live 
in Texas. He served his country with pride and honor as a WWII veteran. Felix 
worked as an Iron Worker for 30 years, and retired from Pacific Southern 
Foundries. He was a member of Sociedad Juarez M.M. and Edad De Oro Sociedad 
#12.

Felix was preceded in death by his wife, Pura Hill Torres and their sons, 
Felix Apache Torres and Raul Torres. Survivors include his daughter, Alicia T. 
Gonzales; son-in-law, Louie Gonzales; grandsons, Roy F. Grijalva III, Anthony 
Grijalva, Sergio Grijalva; sons, Alfredo Torres, Fidel Adame; as well as great-
grandchildren and numerous other relatives and many dear close friends and 
companions.

His daughter would like to thank Dr. Nadim Sarkies, Dr. Richard OReilly, the 
staff of SJCH and Optimal Hospice for all of their care and support.

Visitation will be today from 12:00 9:00 p.m. at Greenlawn Mortuary.
