Services: Tues., Nov. 30, 10 a.m. 

Services will be held for Terry Lee McGowen on Tuesday, November 30, 2004, at 
10:00 a.m. at Peters Funeral Chapel in Shafter, who was called home to God on 
November 25, 2004.

Terry enjoyed many interests including decorating, gardening, and going to the 
movie theater. He loved music and loved to dance. He will be remembered most 
for his dedication to family and friends. His love, support, and helping hand 
will not be forgotten by those who have been touched by his generosity. 
Whether known by brother, uncle or friend, those lucky enough to have known 
him will carry him always in our hearts.

Terry is survived by his sister, Ruby and husband, Gerald Gates of 
Bakersfield; sister, Brenda Albitre; sister, Darlene McGowen and Rick Taylor 
all of Bakersfield; brother, Jim and wife, Evelyn McGowen of Bakersfield; and 
brothers, Gary and Rodney McGowen of Shafter; 15 nieces and nephews and 6 
great-nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his mother and father, 
Billy Dail and Lorene McGowen and niece, Bobbie Jean Beggs.

Visitation will be held Sunday, 2-8 p.m. and Monday 9 a.m. 8 p.m. at Peters 
Funeral Chapel.
