Mary Y. Sabo
April 3, 1942 November 21, 2004

Mary Y. Sabo, 62, of Camano Island, Washington went home to be with our Lord 
after a year-long struggle with cancer in Everett, Washington with her 
husband, Jim, at her side. 

Mary loved children very much and worked for several years at the Blair 
Learning Center caring for kids with special needs. Mary also devoted much of 
her time to her local Catholic churches, both in Bakersfield and Washington. 
Her favorite hobby was to make rosaries for the church during her spare time. 
While living in Bakersfield, Marys main focus was caring for her own six 
children. She has now gone home and can be with her parents, Sal and Petra, 
her brothers, David and Richard and her son, James Sabo, Jr. May she rest in 
peace. Mary is survived by her husband of 45 years, Jim Sabo; daughter, Jandie 
and her husband, Don Meek; sons, Alan and his wife, Cindy Sabo, Jeff and his 
wife, Krista Sabo, Andy and his wife, Elizabeth Sabo and Arthur and his wife, 
Marie Sabo, as well as 12 grandchildren.

A Rosary and Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, November 30, 
11:00 a.m., at Christ the King Church in Oildale with Msgr. Stephen A. Frost 
officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be on 
Monday from 4-8 p.m. at Mish Funeral Home.
