Felicita Salas-Barriente
Aug. 13, 1915 Nov. 28, 2004

Felicita went to be with her Lord and Savior at the age of 89. Services will 
be held for Felicita on Wednesday, December 1, 2004, at 11:00 a.m. at the 
First Hispanic Baptist Church. Graveside services will follow at Greenlawn 
Southwest Cemetery. 

Born in Brenham, Texas, Felicita was one of eight children. Felicita was 
mother of eleven children, and grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-
grandmother to over 160 children.

Felicita Salas-Barriente is survived by seven children: Juan Barriente, Mary 
Carillo, Isabel Jerry Barriente (Yvonne) Eberardo Lalo Barriente Jr. (Rose) 
Linda Barriente-Kreick (John), Lydia Juarez, and Ruth Ruiz-Solis (Victor). 
Felicita is also survived by three sisters and two brothers: Naomi Adams, 
Angela Hererra, Andrea Garcia, Mike Salas, and Paul Salas. Felicita is 
preceded in death by her husband, Eberardo Barriente Sr., her daughter, Rosie 
Landeros, and her sons, Diego, Frank, and Jesse Barriente.

Visitations will be held Tuesday, November 30, 2004, from 12 p.m. 5 p.m. with 
a family hour from 5 p.m. 8 p.m. at Jesse E. Cooley Jr. Funeral Service. 
Pallbearers will be: T.J. Martinez, Samuel Barriente, Phillip Lopez, Andrew 
Lopez, Robert Carillo, and Victor Solis.
