John David Ornbaum
Jan. 19, 1959 - Nov. 17, 2004

John David Ornbaum was born in Ukiah, California and grew up in Bakersfield. 
John attended local grammar schools and graduated from South High School in 
1977. John worked most of his adult life in the automotive parts industry. He 
worked for several of the local car dealerships before living and working in 
Alaska for 5 years. He returned to Bakersfield in 1998. He was last employed 
as a Parts Specialist for the City of Bakersfield. John was always interested 
in WWII planes and would have loved to be a pilot like his Dad. 

His parents, Donald Ornbaum and Marie Ornbaum preceded John in death. His 
sister Julianna Fernandes and her husband Joe, of Twain Harte, CA, survive 
John. Several aunts, uncles, cousins, longtime friends David and Lori Friday, 
and former wife Kathleen Roseberry, also survive John.

John was loved by and will be missed by many. A memorial service will be 
scheduled at a future time.
