Funeral services will be held at Peters Funeral Home, in Wasco, for Jose 
Nunez, age 39, on Saturday, December 11, 2004. Visitation will be held on 
Saturday, December 11th, noon to 8 p.m. and Sunday, December 12th, 2-8 p.m. at 
Peters Funeral Home-Wasco. 

Jose passed away December 2, 2004, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Jose will be interred 
in Mexico.

Jose was born March 22, 1965, in Lagos De Moreno, Jalisco, Mexico, to J. 
Merced Nunez and Maria Marcos Velasquez. He moved to Lost Hills in 1977, and 
was very proud of having the opportunity to live in the United States and 
becoming a U.S. Citizen. He was a hardworking man and lived a very happy life. 
He liked to dress Cowboy Style with boots, jeans, and a cowboy hat. He loved 
people and always looked for the good in others. Family and friends were very 
important to him.

Jose was preceded in death by his mother, Maria Marcos; siser, Maria De 
Refugio Nunez. He is survived by his father, J. Merced; 7 brothers, Juan and 
Armando of Shafter, Victor, Jesus, Ovdulio, and Guadalupe of Wasco, and 
Alfredo of Mexico, and their wives; many nieces, nephews, and godchildren.
