Visitation for Dan Frank Meagher, Sr. will be held at Basham Funeral Care 
(3312 Niles Street) on Monday evening December 13, 2004 from 5-8 p.m. and 
graveside services will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Park on Tuesday 
afternoon, December 14, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. 

Dan was born in San Antonio, Texas on December 30, 1925 and he passed away in 
Bakersfield on Friday morning December 10, 2004.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Dolores Meagher, twin daughters and 
their husbands, Dee and Ray Crisp and Dot and Mike Williams; sons, Dan Frank 
Meagher, Jr. and Darrell John Meagher; brother and sister-in-law, Jack and 
Ruth Meagher; 9 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, 
nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Dan was a quiet and simple man. He served his country in the U.S. Navy during 
World War II. He really loved his dog B.J. He was retired from Pacific Bell 
and he enjoyed playing golf and solitaire. He was loved by all that knew him 
and he will be deeply missed. For additional service information or floral
