Wayne "Robbie" Robinson
May 23, 1934 December 9, 2004 


Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, December 15, 2004, at 1:00 p.m. 
at Hillcrest Memorial Park & Mortuary.

Our Dad was born on May 23, 1934 in Madera, California and he passed away on 
December 9, 2004, in Bakersfield, California.

At the age of 17 our Dad joined the Navy and served for four years during the 
Korean War. On June 8, 1955, our Dad met our beautiful Mom at Stans Drive-In 
where Mom was a car hop. They married 8 weeks later on August 8, 1955. Our Dad 
founded and operated Robbies Pumping Service until his retirement in 1996.

Dad is preceded in death by grandson, Everett Devilbiss and brother-in-law, 
Wayne Mitchell. Our Dad is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, our Mom, 
Mary Mitchell Robinson; son, Jeff and his wife, Debbie; his daughter, Kelly; 
sister-in-law, Marilyn Mitchell; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Erma and 
Charles Thompson and Wayne and Linda Hopfe, all of Bakersfield. Dad is also 
survived by his grandchildren, Eric and Erin Devilbiss, Chase Robinson, Mitch 
Robinson and his fiancée, Shelly, Jessica Gregg and husband, Chris, James 
Robles. Dad also leaves behind 7 great-grandchidlren.

Our Dad had tons of friends. Dad was an avid gardener and cook and loved 
working in his yard.
