Robert Edward Knowlton, 52, of Bakersfield, CA, passed away December 4, 2004. 

He was born February 11, 1952, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Horace John and 
Elsie Marie Petersen Knowlton. He married Marilynn Valladolid November 22, 
1972, in Salt Lake City. She died March 20, 2004. He was a very hard worker 
and spent the last years of his life at Bakersfield College as a Network 
Administrator. He had a positive outlook on life and was a dedicated husband, 
father and grandfather. His priority was his family.

Robert is survived by his children, Quincy (Denise) Knowlton, Bakersfield, CA; 
Justin (Stacey) Knowlton, San Luis Obispo, CA; Standish Knowlton, Ossie 
Knowlton, both of Bakersfield; grandchildren, Cameron, Madyson and Makaela; 
mother, Elsie Knowlton, Liberty, UT; 11 brothers, 5 sisters. He was preceded 
in death by his wife, Marilynn, brother, Thomas and father, Horace.

Graveside services were held Friday, December 10, 2004, at the Randlett, Utah 
Cemetery on the Ute Indian Reservation next to his beloved wife, Marilynn.
