Lee Edwin Stover

Chapel services will be held Tuesday, December 21, 2004, in the Greenlawn 
Memorial Chapel, 3700 River Blvd., at 1:30 p.m., for Lee Edwin Stover, 86, 
whom the Lord took home December 16. Pastor Larry Wood will officiate. 

Mr. Stover was born November 30, 1918, in Earlimart, California to Grace and 
Sidney Stover. The family moved to Wasco where he graduated from Wasco High 
School in 1936. He spent his adult life in Shafter and Wasco working as a meat 
cutter. He loved spending time with his family and grandchildren and great-
grandchildren. He had a sense of humor and was always trying to make people 
laugh. He wrote many poems to family members. 

Lee was preceded in death by his loving wife, Ruth; sons, Greg and Gary; and 
his brother, Howard. He is survived by his daughter, Sandi and husband, Don 
Patrick of Bakersfield, CA; his sister, Linnea and husband, Gene of Moab, UT; 
sister-in-law, Ruby Grant and brother-in-law, Sterling Grant of Wasco, CA; 
sister-in-law, Mabel Renfrow of Hollister, CA; grandchildren, Cindy Stover of 
Los Angeles, CA, Jerry Janzen and fiancée, Lori, Michelle Turner and husband, 
Jeff, Kyla Lee and husband, Wayne, all of Bakersfield, CA; Chuck Blaptenberg 
and wife, Stacy of Marysville, WA; great-grandchildren, Allie, Vickie, Jessie, 
Samantha, Jake, Cory, Alyssa, Justin, Jarrett, Naomi, Levi, Natasha, and Amber.

He Will Be Greatly Missed,

Cherished, And Loved By All
